Biography:

After graduating from the Taft School in 2017, Emily attended Boston College, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in economics with a Hispanic studies minor. She rejoins the Taft community after a year teaching at the Canterbury School, where she was a member of the mathematics department, worked and lived as a dorm parent, and assisted the girls’ varsity basketball and rowing teams. Before Canterbury, Emily held a number of different jobs and responsibilities, working for a Boston-based financial firm, teaching in the Taft summer school, and mentoring both in the Boston College Smart Woman Securities program and the St. Stephen’s afterschool program. She is the recipient of numerous awards including the Boston College Department of Romance Languages and Literature Award, as well as selection into Omicron Delta Epsilon, an international honors society for economics. Many of you will remember Emily from her years at Taft where she was elected to Cum Laude and received the Berkeley Matthews Award, Holy Cross Book Award, and senior athletics award.
