Rachel joins the Taft community from the Pine Bush School District in New York where she taught mathematics while also assistant coaching field hockey at her alma mater, SUNY New Paltz. While a student-athlete at New Paltz the field hockey program won a conference championship and went on to compete in the NCAA tournament. Rachel also had the opportunity to play field hockey at the international level competing in Trinidad and Tobago, Germany, and the Netherlands. At Taft, Rachel will teach in the math department, live in USGD, and serve as the head coach the field hockey team.
