The Taft boys' junior varsity lacrosse team plays an important role in the lacrosse program at Taft. At the JV level, players hone their skills and round-out their game in a team that implements the varsity offensive sets and defensive system while emphasizing sportsmanship and character over all else. The team is mainly composed of younger players, along with some experienced leadership from upperclassmen, and is a feeder into the varsity program. Coaches work closely with the varsity staff to provide the players with the skills and understanding needed to move on to the next level. The twelve-game schedule is a very challenging gauntlet composed exclusively of Founders League opponents.
