Taft JV travelled to Berkshire on a warm Wednesday and was able to come away with the victory in straight sets, 25-13, 25-12, 25-13. This was a team effort today as all healthy players saw playing time. Highlights included co-captain Annabel Firestone '20 seven kills, Taline Almasian '20 seven aces, Holly Hu '21 ten aces, and our lone lower mid Katy Hrazdira '22 with twelve aces. Maile Kuyper '20 continues to play well in both the front and back court, and co-captain Tiffany Tam '20 shows great leadership on the court. Annie Segalas '21 played great coming off the bench, and Keren Egu '21 is showing greater confidence at the net. Eugenia Torbar '21 and Ellie Ketchum '21 both had great swings today at the net and are definitely intimidating as a blocking duo. Caro Gura '21 was able to show off her impressive serve as well. Taft will work to keep playing as a unit when we face Sacred Heart at home on Saturday at 2:30pm.
