Win 69-32
All four of Taft’s seniors - Sophie Webb, Anna Csigirinszkij, Maggie O’Leary and Kayla Robinson - started in their final regular season game against rival Hotchkiss. Those seniors plus junior Anna Koziol (4 points) set a determined defensive tone that would last the whole half, by which time the Rhinos led by more than twenty points and all players had contributed. The Big Red began the second stanza sloppily, but they soon regained their focus, continued to build their lead, and finished strong. Senior co-captains Kayla Robinson (ten rebounds) and Maggie O’Leary appropriately led the Big Red attack, netting 20 and 12 points, respectively. Csigirinszkij scored 9, Lauren Villanueva and Tessa Graebner hit 6 each, Nat Hodak deposited 5 (and also had five assists), Eliza Ford 4, Celine Anyaegbunam a field goal, and Sophie Webb a free throw.
