On a beautiful sunny spring day, the Rhinos made the trip across state lines to Pawling, New York for an always intense battle with the Trinity-Pawling Pride. The Rhinos spotted the hosts a quick 4-0 lead early into the first quarter before regaining their footing and slowly began to chip away at the lead to pull it to two at the half. The short-manned Rhinos struggled to generate much of an offensive push against a formidable T-P backline, while Taft's defense found different ways to slow a sharp-sticked and opportunistic offensive opponent. Given the day they were having and the circumstances of the game, the Rhinos were lucky to snag a brief one-goal lead with about two and a half minutes remaining in the half. Credit the hosts for not going away and capitalizing on several rebounds in front of the net to capture the victory to conclude the 2019 campaign.
