A long road trip and a talented Deerfield team paired for a disappointing loss on the road this afternoon for the Rhinos. The first ten minutes of play saw a poised and consistent Taft team. But the speed from the home team forced Taft to their heels. A goal off of a corner started the scoring for Deerfield, and an unfortunate penalty stroke put them ahead by three heading into the half. Taft stayed in it, but could not find the back of the net. Deerfield added a goal late in the second half for a final score of 4-0.
