Taft's Thirds team fell to Williston's JV team in a rainy 0-3 loss on Wednesday afternoon. The Thirds team returned to play for the first day since Friday before departing for long weekend. They were joined today by eight girls on JV: Spencer Diamond, Chloe Meuse, Mary Hayes, Caroline Cooper, Grace Tolles, Talisa Pham Quang, and goalie Liv Karpas. The addition of the JV players was very exciting, as the Thirds team had never before played with subs or a goalie who had played in more than one game! Although the result wasn't what the team had hoped for, the girls showed a lot of grit during the cold and rainy game.
