Williston Northampton School
Win 1-0
It was a tense ninety minutes on the road at Williston, but in the end, The Big Red emerged with a hard-fought 1-0 victory. Taft handed Williston its first loss of the season thanks to a 8th minute goal from Benas Babenskas, who slammed home a rebound following a hard shot from Sammed Bawa. Both sides battled valiantly and have every reason to be proud of their respective performances. For Taft, Chris Murphy earned the shutout in net, and a number of players, including Jordan Miller, Cole Torino, and KK Baffour, turned in outstanding efforts on the defensive end of the pitch. With the victory, Taft improved its record to 10 wins and 1 loss on the season and will now prepare for its third straight away match, a mid-week contest at Salisbury.
