With a final score of 16-25, 23-25, 28-30, Taft played hard against an experienced Loomis team, the 2018 Class A champion. In both set 2 and 3, Taft would pull to a sizable lead midway through to only have Loomis chip away slowly at it. We even had two set points in set 3 to extended the match, but Loomis proved too disciplined. Addie Delafield led the team with 13 kills followed by Mason Delafield with 10. Posey Durling had her best match of the year with 7 kills and Tiffany Tam proved to be a positive defensive spark off the bench.
