Although Taft won 3-0, the final scores of 27-25, 25-15, and 29-27 tell a different story. Miss Porter's was a very well coached team with a disciplined block. They held a regular block party in the first set. Taft dominated in the second set, only to start the third a little too loose, not covering when we should or trying too hard to challenge the block. Still, for better or worse, Taft continues to rely on the 3 same fundamental components of the game: Serving, Serve-Receive, and Hitting Efficiency. Zoe Kemper had a very efficient serving day, serving 13 times with 2 aces and no errors. Finley Delafield passed close to perfect throughout the match. Mason Delafield continues to be our kill leader notching 15 kills in the match.
