Taft faced a strong Pelican squad and came up just short, dropping a very tight match. After losing the first set 15-25, Taft rebounded nicely, winning the second set 25-16. Some timely miscues were too great for the Rhinos, and the match ended with the final two sets going in Loomis' favor, 19-25, 24-26. Taft looks to rebound against Choate away on Saturday.
