In front of a great Parents Weekend crowd, Taft swept Kent by scores of 25-19, 25-18, 25-11. Everyone contributed to our victory today, with notable performances by Emma Jacobi '22 (five aces), Carter Amaden '21 (9 aces), and Omi Oliver '23 (6 aces). Holly Hu '21 and Elle Piercey '22 both had very strong games as outside hitters, and our trio of middle blockers did as well: Keren Egu '21, Tessa Graebner '21 and India Brown '23. We had some great defensive efforts by Annie Segalas '21 and Fa Taepaisitphongse '21. Our team is strengthened by the experience of our setters, Caro Gura '22 and Katy Hrazdira '22. And Katie Konjevod '22 also had some consistent play both at the net and on the defensive front. Our team had great communication today, which allowed for some great defensive plays! As Taft heads into the final two weeks of the season, it will look to finish off strong and compete as a team.
