The Taft XC team ran very well at Williston on a beautiful October day to push their record to 6-1 (varsity) and 7-0 (jv). Maybe it was the new team gear - the sky blue sweats and the sleek new racing shorts - but the rhinos ran incredibly well together and moved up through the Williston ranks with each mile. Charlotte Murphy won her second race of the season, Sydney Grogean had her best run of the season to finish 2nd for Taft and 4th overall, and Charlie Brodhead ran negative splits for each mile and unleashed a huge kick to overtake Williston's third runner at the end.
