Once again, the Taft defense was strong and reliable, allowing only two goals from the aggressive and skilled Westminster offense. Molly Hagymasi saved a flurry of shots in the first half; Taft pushed forward offensively at the beginning of the second half, playing much of the third quarter in the offensive circle. Center midfielder Sophia Oldakowski scored Taft's only goal, supported by the forward line. With no players available as subs, every member of the Taft team played all forty minutes of the game, and proved their resiliance and tenacity on the field.
