The Rhinos dropped a tight contest against Miss Porter's School on Wednesday afternoon. The Rhinos back line held strong through the first 40 minutes of play, despite Miss Porter's holding a clear advantage in possession and attacking chances created. Following the start of the second half, the Rhinos made some tactical adjustments to stymie some of the Porter's attacks. The team did a fantastic job adjusting and limited the opponent to low percentage shots from distance. A defensive lapse allowed Miss Porters to take a 1-0 lead midway through the second half. The Rhinos pushed late for an equalizer but were unable to find the tying goal. A superb team effort from the Taft squad leaves the group with a positive outlook heading into Saturday's match vs. Choate.
