Taft lost a tough match at home. They dropped the first two sets by scores of 25-17 and 25-14, then came back to win the third set 25-23 before dropping the fourth set 25-20. The team battled all afternoon against a skilled opponent. The team had a couple of tough calls not go their way but were resilient and continued to compete. The coaches were very proud of the sportsmanship, teamwork, and effort that the girls showed. We discussed after the game how our honor is more important than the outcome of a point, a set, or a match. We look forward to our next match on Saturday against Rumsey Hall!
