Taft traveled to Miss Porter's on Saturday and had quite the battle. Miss Porter's came out hot in the first set, defeating the Rhinos 25-8. Taft rebounded and stole the second set 25-20 before dropping the third set 25-14. With the match on the line, Taft bounced back and won the fourth set 25-22, forcing a fifth and final set. Taft came out on top in the fifth by a score of 15-9 to secure the win. The Taft servers did a nice job all afternoon while the passing and setting was consistent in setting up an offensive attack. Once again, Maxine Maag led the Rhinos in kills, this time with 11, a season high for her! Taft hosts Westover on Wednesday before the season finale at Hotchkiss on Saturday. Taft currently has a 5-5 record going into the last two games of the season.
