Taft loaded the bus and visited Rumsey Hall for a Saturday afternoon match. Rumsey was able to pack the gym for their Family Weekend game, adding extra energy to an exciting matchup. The teams looked evenly matched in the first set, and Taft was able to win narrowly by a score of 25-19. Rumsey came right back and stole set number two. After dropping a back-and-forth third set, Taft found themselves behind 2-1, and Rumsey was able to slam the door and win the fourth set. Despite the loss, Taft played very well and did a wonderful job of keeping good, positive energy throughout the match. The team had a season-high in kills (15) and assists (8). Teni Arole had 4 kills to lead the charge. Taft will get back to work on Monday and Tuesday in preparation for their next match at Hotchkiss.
