Taft XC finished a strong 2nd at the Founders League Championships (behind Loomis and just ahead of Choate) on a warm day and a hilly course at Choate. Charlotte Murphy turned in a great race to place 2nd in the varsity field of 55 runners with a time of 19:45. Kate Cicchetti (6th), Annabell Sorensen (11th), and Sydney Grogean (15th) were also named All-League runners for finishing in the top fifteen places. Rina Kurihara (17), Lena Rukkas (19) and Charlie Brodhead (23) rounded out Taft's varsity runners. The JV team also placed 2nd (also behind Loomis and just ahead of Hotchkiss), with Leyla Zhaksybek (4th) and Brooke Wilcox (9th) leading the way in the race of 60 runners, followed by Paige Bannon (16), Tatsha Kumthampinij (18), Farren Camp (27), and Elena Kim (36).
