The Taft Thirds soccer team traveled up to Kent to play the lads in blue on a lovely fall afternoon. We did not play well at all but prevailed three to one. Miller Masterson scored in the first half as a Kent defender attempted to clear the ball, that clear hit Miller and went in. Yay Miller! Next late in the first half, Truett Knight crossed a lovely ball to Jefferson Kao that Jeff side-volleyed into the Kent net. Kent scored early in the second half to make things interesting, but then Jeff scored again late in the second half off a rebounded shot from Andrew Jimenez. The whistle blew and Taft had earned a three one win. Viktor Maag, Carl Roux, Andrew Jimenez, Hiroki Tanaka and Trevor McNamara played well for Taft in the back. Our next match is this Wednesday at home at 3PM v Choate, always a good match every year. See you there!
