The Taft 3rds Field Hockey team scored their first win of the season against Hotchkiss. With the help of a defensive line grounded by captain Sydney Glander, new goalie Michaela Lynch allowed only one goal despite many strong shots on goal by the Hotchkiss team. Taft's offense really started to pressure in the second quarter, when their first goal was scored by Lower Mid Zoe Chiweshe. Taft earned multiple offensive corners and closed out the second quarter by scoring on one of these corners, with a goal by Mid Wilhelmina Houck. The second half was scoreless and Taft walked away with the win.
