The boys came through with a convincing victory over a much improved Kent team. Tate Celebi had to work extremely hard to shake off Kent's top runner. Tate's winning time of 16:47 propels him into 8th place on the All-Time best Taft times on our course. (This performance allowed Tate to unseat his older brother Jude for the 8th spot.) After Kent took second place, the Big Red wave came through with Ali Griswold (17:38) just nipping Malin Adams (17:39), then Augi Booth (17:48) and Huck Griswold (17:59) finishing the varsity scoring. Rory McNamara (18:27) and Michael Xu (18:32) completed the varsity line-up as we won 19-44. On the JV side, we won 15-50, as Trevor Stellmach (18:45) and Dylan Shi (18:57) not only broke the 19-minute mark, but also finished ahead of Kent's varsity #2 runner! Will Post (20:08), Jed Spencer (20:35) and Dylan Muellers (20:44) filled out the top 5 in the JV race. But Tom Bodson (20:46) and Willian Zhao (20:58) also crossed ahead of the top JV runner for Kent giving the us a clean sweep. Also running for us were Eli Arroyo (21:11) Gavin Poon (21:25) Carson Chen (21:39) Jayden Oon (22:32), Andrew Dong (23:08), Steven Zhang (24:04), Colton Bass (25:17), The Anh Dao (28:520, Kai Kenoshita (29:31), and Max Kenausis (29:43).
