On an unseasonably warm October, the Lady Rhinos came out against Kent School looking for a strong win in front of a crowd of excited parents. While the game started off slowly, senior captain Faith Graziano ‘24 sent a beautiful shot to the back of the net at minute 31 to kick up the momentum a notch. Fellow captain and senior Alessia Schettino ‘24 followed quickly with another goal at 34 minutes to close out the first half and bring Taft ahead. In the back half of the game, the Taft ladies came out hustling. At 9 minutes into the second half, Graziano tucked away her second goal, followed quickly by Ruth Amponsah ‘27 at 11 minutes. Schettino sent a corner kick right onto Graziano’s head, which she sent to the back of the net, at 14 minutes to bring the Rhinos up to a 5-0 lead. All members of the squad saw play time. Now, for a long weekend’s rest!
