1st Place Taft’s Varsity golfers hosted the 2023 Founders League Championship at Watertown Golf Club on May 18 and came home with the championship. The golfers posted a school championship record with a score of 373 strokes (74.6 strokes/golfer) and were 15 strokes clear of Hotchkiss. Senior Michael Pangaro and Middler James Hagberg both posted 73s to lead Taft while upper mids Hunter Duncan (74), Aman Dhiman (75) and Malin Adams (78) also played well and contributed to Taft’s total score. The golfers conclude their 2024 season Wednesday with the Kingswood Invitation at Gillette Ridge Golf Club.
