In the opening 15 minutes of the game Taft scored 5 goals! Britty Page '25 scored first by deflecting a hard pass from Devon Watson '25. Devon then set up Caroline Traina '26 for goal #2. Lucy Traina '28 then scored off a deflected rebound from Britty Page '25. Ari Ftorek '25 then wanted to get in on the scoring action and scored the next three goals with assists from Britty Page'25 and Rachel Turer '25. Defense was solid today with Rachel Turer'25, Lydia Wilson '26 and Alexa Blaha '26 all coming up with crucial block tackles to deny Kent opportunities. Taft outshot Kent 25-2, and had 13 offensive corners, and gave up 2 defensive corners. Savoy McMahon '25 and Faye von Bossel'26 split time in cage and were well protected, not having to make a save all game. Kent had some very fast break aways, but our midfielders, Lindsey Kunzelmann'28, Jocelyn Schwartz'28, Brighton McMahon'25, and Abigail Butler'26 hustled to slow down Kent in the transition.
