Taft stuck within 20 seconds of the game with a connection between Ari Ftorek and Britty Page. Taft found the back of the cage again in the second quarter with Devon Watson's pass to Emily Smith who drove it in. Halfway through the third quarter, the third goal came from Emily Smith finding Britty Page in front of the goal who eliminated the keeper with a pull and scored. Gunn found an opportunity to put them on the board from a corner. This was a very physical, foul-filled game, but it helped our Taft Rhinos focus on the controllables and playing OUR game.
