We faced 3 of the top teams in New England (Loomis, Hotchkiss, and NMH), and while we raced admirably, we walked away with 3 losses. In a field of 90 finishers, Tate Celebi continued to excel, taking 4th overall in 16:35. By the time Rory McNamara crossed the line in 17:59 and took 17th place, the other 3 teams had clinched victories over us. Malin Adams was close behind Rory and took 18th place in 18:11, and Will Post took the 20th spot in 18:29 to finish off our top varsity pack. William Zhao, 19:02, earned 24th place to finish our team scoring. Dylan Muellers broke the 20 minute mark with a 19:59 to take 32nd, and Michael Xu claimed the final varsity spot in 20:13 for 35th. The JV squad also took 3 losses on the day, but still raced very well. All boys ran together, so the JV placings all came after the varsity. Dylan Shi led the way with 20:48 and 44th place. Hot on his heels was Ben Kaskin in just his second race ever for Taft. His time of 20:50 took 45th. Wilson Littman, also in his second race for Taft earned 47th with a time of 21:30. Jacob Obenshain and Tim Kasian, both new students came in at 22:08 and 22:11 respectively for 54th and 55th places. This closed out our JV scoring although Gavin Poon's finish in 22:28 and Daniel Fougere's 22:48 also qualified as JV results. They finished 60th and 64th respectively. Colin Barlow finished in 24:07 for 69th place and Colton Bass took home 71st in 24:21.
