On a gorgeous afternoon, the boys pulled out a victory against a dramatically improved Kent squad. Leading the way for us and finishing 1-2-3 were Tate Celebi (18:17), Rory McNamara (18:39) and Huck Griswold (18:40). Going 1-2-3 guaranteed us the victory which was crucial as Kent sent in the next 5 finishers. Rounding out the top 10 were Eli Arroyo (21:36) and Will Post (21:39). Close behind Will were Dylan Muellers (21:44) and William Zhao (22:00) This concluded our varsity finishers. The JVs cruised to an easy victory led by Gavin Poon (22:06) who just edged out Tim Kasian who also registered 22:06. Ben Kaskin took third in the JV race with a 22:35. Again, with a 1-2-3 finish, we were assured a win at the JV level, but that did not stop Jacob Obenshain (23:53), Colin Barlow (25:12), Daniel Fougere (25:49) and Colton Bass (25:54) all from finishing ahead of Kent's top JV runner. Mark Spiegle completed his first ever 5k in 29:56.
