We earned our first win of the season today with a great team effort.  We controlled much of the first half, and the defense and Michaela Lynch did not touch the ball in the goal.  We scored early in the first half when Adriana Kari was on the right post to tip in the shot made by Sophie Stimpson, who earned the assist.  Zoe Chiweshe had an incredible game in the midfield and was all over the field, controlling the play.  Mariah Williams played in the defensive mid position and ensured the ball rarely got to our defense; however, the few times it did make it in the backfield, Beatrice Oneglia was rock solid in clearing the ball out of our defensive end.  These were just a few highlights.  It was a great game played by all!
