On a spectacular afternoon, we hosted the Founders League Championship. Overall, we took third place behind Loomis and Hotchkiss, who had beaten us in the regular season. The brightest spot of the day was our top runner, Tate Celebi who took second overall in 16:43. Rory McNamara took 17th in 18:15. Finishing consecutively were Malin Adams and Huck Griswold in 23rd and 24th place in 18:42 and 18:46. Will Post was not far behind in 19:01 for 26th place. Eli Arroyo finished in 19:32, good for 40th place and Dylan Muellers rounded out our squad with 46th place in 20:04. On the JV side, we finished in 5th. Sadly, our top runner, Willian Zhao, was disqualified on a technicality despite finishing 4th overall in 19:48. This meant that Michael Xu's 20:17 was our best for 9th overall. Ben Kaskin crossed the line in 21:24 for 27th place. Then came our pack as Jacob Obenshain (21:44), Tim Kasian (21:48), Dylan Shi (21:51), Wilson Littman (22:00), and Gavin Poon (22:02) all finished within 18 seconds of each other. Other finishers for us included Colton Bass (22:38), Daniel Fougere (21:34), Andrew Kim (25:30). Grant Mo (25:37), and Mark Spiegle (27:54).
