Taft gave up three goals early into the first quarter and fell quickly to a 0-3 deficit. The game went scoreless the second and third quarter, with Taft’s defense shutting out a dominant, quick SHG attack. Halfway into the fourth quarter, Caroline Traina ‘26 sent a deep ball to Hannah Zhang ‘27 who found the back of the cage with Taft’s first shot of the game. Eva Layton ‘27 posted an impressive 22 saves.
