Tom comes to Taft from Moses Brown School (RI) where he served as the director of technology for fifteen years and network and technical support manager for three years. He also served as a board member for the RI chapter of ISTE for six years. Tom has made several conference presentations about private cloud computing and K-12 STEM activities with physical computing. Previous experience includes private sector positions as a research engineer and director of computer programs at Katherine Gibbs School. Tom received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Brown University and an MBA from the University of Rhode Island.  Tom, his wife, and their sons live on campus.
