Douglas graduated from the University of Southern California in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations Global Business. He spent the following five years managing accounts across various industries, including advertising and inter-bank FX. As much as he enjoyed the pace of the business world, he longed for a role that focused on helping individuals grow and maximize their potential. Following the decision to change to a career in education, Douglas spent one year training as a teacher in the UK at the University of Manchester, graduating with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education with an Outstanding grade. When not working, Douglas loves to cook, mountain bike, and work on modern classic vehicles. A standout soccer player, he was an academy player for Hong Kong Football Club (U15s, U17s & U21s) and captained his high school varsity soccer team. He also represented the University of Southern California’s futsal team. He recently completed his coaching license with The England Football Association. At Taft, Douglas teaches Mathematics, coaches soccer, and lives in HDT.
