MEd, Cambridge College
A native of Granger, Indiana, Matt first came to New England in 2006 to play junior hockey for the Northern Cyclones. Matt attended Wentworth Institute of Technology, earning a BS in architecture. At Wentworth, he was a four-year starter on the varsity lacrosse team, earning multiple Commonwealth Coast Conference honors. After a career in architecture and construction management, Matt earned a MEd in secondary mathematics from Cambridge College. Prior to coming to Taft in 2021, Matt got his start in boarding school education at The Frederick Gunn School. In addition to teaching math, Matt is an assistant coach for boys’ varsity lacrosse and the head coach of boys’ JV hockey. He is the dorm head on CPT 4, where he lives with his wife, Hannah, their son, Connor, and their dog, Cooper.
