Pam graduated cum laude from Middlebury College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in secondary education. She earned a master's degree in English at Middlebury as well. As a certified teacher, Pam taught at a public high school in Connecticut for nine years before being appointed to the Taft faculty in 1995. She was a class dean for eight years, and she currently teaches English and aerobics. Pam and her husband, Willy, have two sons, John ’14 and Tom ’16; both attend Brown University.
