Biography:

Lisa graduated magna cum laude from Davidson College in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in classical languages. At Davidson, Lisa ran cross country and track and served as a Latin teaching assistant. Prior to coming to Taft in 2014, Lisa spent five years teaching Latin and coaching cross country, track, swimming, and lacrosse at independent schools in Georgia and Maryland. At Taft, Lisa has served as a dormitory head for both Vogelstein Dormitory and Mac House, and she has worked as Dean of Students for the Taft Summer School. In December 2015, Lisa finished her master’s degree in Latin through the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Currently, she serves as a Dean of the Upper Middle Class and teaches Latin. She is the girls' varsity cross country head coach and works as an assistant coach for the track teams, primarily with the girls' middle distance and distance runners. Lisa does dormitory duty in ISP Dormitory and lives on campus with her husband, Ozzie.
