Jeffrey received his Bachelor of Arts with honors in history from Colby College. While attending Colby, Jeffrey played varsity football for four years. In 2013, he was honored by being named to the NESCAC All-Academic Team as well as the NESCAC All-Sportsmanship Team. He was also the recipient of the Jack D. Foner Prize, awarded to the best historical essay, based upon research he did in Santiago, Chile. Prior to Colby College, Jeffrey attended The Governor’s Academy, where he played varsity football, wrestled, and ran indoor/outdoor track. Jeffrey spent a year working for Readak Educational Services, Inc., where he was a traveling instructor teaching one-month long advanced learning skills courses at independent schools worldwide. Jeffrey is the Carpenter Fellow and the Penn Teaching Fellow in History. Outside the classroom, he is the assistant coach for varsity football, varsity wrestling, and track. Jeff resides on CPT3.
