Christine came to Taft as director of alumni relations in 2015. Prior to moving to Connecticut, Christine lived on the French Riviera, where she was the hotel manager at a five-star Relais & Chateaux property. Looking for a working experience in the U.S. for a few months, she applied at the Mayflower Inn in Washington, Connecticut. She got the job and never left. She was their director of sales and special events for 17 years. While involved with marketing, social media, and all aspects of hotel management, she also dealt with Fortune 500 companies' top executive retreats, corporate and social events, and was the primary contact for high profile guests. Christine received a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in international business and foreign languages from Aix-Marseille University, France. She lives in New Preston, Connecticut, with her husband, two teenage children, a young rescue puppy, and an elderly cat.
