After graduating from Taft in 2013, Peter studied English literature at Saint Michael's College in Vermont. Peter started working at the Rumsey Hall School in 2017 teaching ELL History and US History. In his three years in this role, he taught mostly international students with a focus on United States History while continuing to work on his students' English skills. He also taught three sections of standard 8th grade US History. After an opportunity opened in the English department, Peter seamlessly transitioned over. In his three years teaching English at Rumsey, he taught 6th grade, 7th grade, and 9th grade sections. The last two years of his time in the English department primarily focused on working with 9th grade students applying for secondary education. Peter is currently in the process of finishing his graduate degree from Arizona State University where he will earn a MA in English Literature.
