Once again, the Taft community demonstrated what is possible when generosity and shared purpose come together. Through the dedication and Non ut sibi spirit that define our school, 2,744 donors contributed more than $6 million to the Taft Fund. These gifts go straight to the heart of the Taft experience—supporting the students, teachers, and programs that make a Taft education extraordinary.

Alumni gave generously to the 2025–26 Taft Fund, contributing $2.92 million and reaffirming how enduring the bond to this school remains long after graduation. Current parents matched that spirit with real momentum of their own, posting a strong 61% participation rate and $2.59 million in support. Leading that charge were Parents’ Committee chairs Whitney and Raja Chatterjee P’25,’27, whose energy and leadership inspired family engagement. Former parents, grandparents, and friends generously rounded out the effort with an additional $552,366 in gifts.

Nearly two-thirds of donors have given to the Taft Fund for three or more consecutive years. That kind of loyalty is something we don’t take for granted. “Connection is really the word that captures this year for me,” said Kyle Storms, Director of Annual Giving. “Every gift, every volunteer hour, every conversation about why Taft matters—it all adds up to something we couldn’t build alone. That’s what makes Taft’s community so remarkable and so worth celebrating.”

None of this happens without the volunteers behind the scenes—class agents, Parents’ Committee members, board members, and event leaders who generously give their time and energy all year long.
