Shamir Johnson '18 continues to be a unifying force on the Stonehill campus, both on and off the basketball court.
Shamir Johnson ’18, currently a fifth-year senior at Stonehill College, is living the school’s Non ut Sibi motto. As The Boston Globe reports, Johnson is a student leader on campus and helped launch a group called “One Hill” to signify a sense of togetherness on campus, helped create the Athletics Task Force Against Racial Injustice with his peers, started conversations with Students in Action, and organized a campus-wide sit-in to promote equality. Shamir continues to be a unifying force on campus, both on and off the basketball court, and his efforts have earned him the school’s Athletics Community Service Award.
