Barre '19 earns All-American recognition at 2022 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships

Barre '19 sets pentathlon school record on way to earning All-American recognition.

In the past month, Liz Barre '19 won the high jump at the University Athletic Association championships, won the pentathlon at All-Atlantic Regionals, qualified for Division III Nationals, and then became a Division III All American in the pentathlon—placing seventh at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships and breaking her own school record with 3,399 points and tying the Carnegie Mellon record in high jump in the process. Barre also ran in the 4 x 4 with fellow Taftie Taylor Jacobs '18 taking third at the UAA championship meet.
