Rising to the COVID-19 Challenge: Our Community Comes "Together for Taft"

For three days in May we asked Taft alumni, families, and friends to come together to support students facing financial challenges due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. The Together for Taft campaign was designed to grow our COVID-19 Financial Impact Fund, which will help keep our student community whole. We are deeply humbled by the response to our call: 333 loyal alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends, helped us not only meet our $300,000 fundraising goal, but to exceed it, thereby unlocking an additional gift of $200,000 from a generous and dedicated group of school trustees. Together—as a community—we raised $592,633 for the COVID-19 Financial Impact Fund in just three days. For this, we thank you.

The campaign featured messages from the Headmaster and alumni, and a video reminder of what it means to be part of the Taft community. You can view those messages, as well as by-class, -state, and -country giving details (and more) here: https://bit.ly/3deSEmA

From the bottom of our hearts and with deep Big Red pride, we thank you for showing your support for Taft during this most unusual time.
