Meet Amanda

Where are you from?

I’m from Middlebury, Connecticut.

What activities do you participate in at Taft?

I am part of the girls’ soccer and lacrosse programs, an EcoMon, a member of the Admissions Council, and am part of the yearbook team.

What is/has been your favorite class(es) at Taft?

My favorite class at Taft is biology.

What is your favorite spot on campus?

My favorite spot on campus is the hockey rink. It's so great to see so many members of the community come out to support the hockey teams, and Taft.

What is your most memorable Taft moment?

My most memorable Taft moment was my first Red Rally my freshman year. It was so amazing to see so much energy, and everyone so excited about beating Hotchkiss!

What does it mean to be a Rhino?

To be a Rhino means to give back to the Taft community as well as the community outside of Taft. We all love being at Taft, and to be a Rhino means taking advantage of all the opportunities available to us at such an amazing school.
