Core Academic Classes

You'll select 5 Core Academic Classes from the Young Scholars/Liberal Studies Course Offerings in order of preference. You will be enrolled in 3 based on availability. Electives will be chosen after arriving on campus.

Course Selection

Students enrolled in the Writer's Lab, Young Writer's Enrichment Institute, and the Algebra Training Workshop will automatically be pre-registered in a morning and afternoon writing class.

Parent/Guardian Signature, Payment Information, and Further Instructions

In addition to filling out this online form, applicants will need to share the School Recommendation Form with their guidance counselor or school head and share the Teacher Recommendation Form with two different teachers and ask them to complete and submit their recommendation to Summer@Taft. Your application will be considered complete when the application fee and all forms, including a copy of your transcript, have been received.
